The Yemenia Women & Families Association of Calgary (YWFA) is a non-profit, community-based organization established by Yemeni Canadian women to support, empower, and uplift our community in Calgary. Rooted in shared values of unity, resilience, and cultural pride, YWFA is a welcoming hub for women and families navigating life in Canada.

We believe that every woman has the right to thrive — not only to survive. Our programs are tailored to address real-life needs, from career readiness and digital literacy to cultural celebration and youth mentorship. We also provide social support to help women build strong, connected lives while preserving their unique identity.
